 “The reason I started this business is because I wanted to create a place where anyone could come and be creative. It is food for the soul,” Debby said.

Corner Table provides

a tasty alternative

Born from hospitality lovers, with over a combined 30 years experience, Corner Table is adding a different take on the modern cafe in the south eastern suburbs. Open six days a week, Corner Table provides breakfast and lunch consisting of fresh seasonal produce. They provide take home meal solutions, along with a catering service and private function offering. 

More than great coffee at 57 Café!

Upon entering 57 Café you will find a friendly, vibrant and convivial atmosphere, smelling the tantalising aroma of the freshly brewed coffee. 

Founded by the Makris family, the business was originally a single fronted shop that grew quickly and became a double fronted shop with seating for 120 including an alfresco dining area and a small function room.

Bambou celebrates 10 yrs years of early childhood education

Bambou Early Learning Centre, Glen Waverley is celebrating 10 years of providing a quality ‘play based’ curriculum in a nurturing, child-focused aesthetically pleasing environment.

A family owned business, Bambou ELC was founded by Haritsa Xenidis and her husband, John, in early 2009 and is an exceeding rated early childhood centre catering for babies through to five-year-olds.

Priceline Pharmacy has been one of the cornerstones of the Pinewood Shopping Village for almost 30 years. The pharmacy originally opened in 1989 on its present site at 439 Blackburn Road, Mt Waverley.


Dominic Stambe commenced work at the pharmacy at that time and has been part of the Pinewood community for nearly 30 years. 


Oh My delicious!

Beautiful décor, a friendly family atmosphere, second-to-none service and the most delicious Vietnamese cuisine at affordable prices. That's the modus operandi of Pinewood's award-winning Vietnamese licensed restaurant My My. It was founded in 2001 by Kelly Banh and her husband, Peter, and carries the name of their daughter, My My. It is one of the oldest established businesses in Pinewood.


Travel centre in full flight

Kimberley, the manager of Flight Centre in Centreway, Pinewood Shopping Village, is passionate about travel and the Flight Centre brand. 

“The best part of my job is being able to talk about travel every single day.  Travel is a lot of fun. Once you go on a trip you get the travel bug and you can’t really stop,” she said.

Jackman: just delicious!

Modern Australian food with all the different flavours from around the world. That's the theme behind the menu at Jackman Eatery, located at in the Pinewood Shopping Village, adjacent to Coles Supermarket. 

The café restaurant is managed by brothers Jack and Mann, who have more than 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, working in cafes and restaurants around Melbourne and managing their own food catering service.


The Lion roars at Pinewood 

Lion City is an Asian Grocery, Supermarket, that has a huge range and diversity of products from almost every country in South East Asia.

Roger and his wife Peggy, both Singapore nationals, established Lion City in late 2015. Lion City offers friendly service and advice on cooking, sauces and the various flavours of noodles.


Nurseryman going strong

Frank Mitchell, after 58 years at the helm of Pinewood Quality Nursery is showing no signs of slowing down.

"I am living the moment, I love what I do," Frank said.

Rated one of the top four nurseries in Victoria with 1200 customers per week, Pinewood Quality Nursery is a family owned and run business employing 18 full and part-time staff.

Traditional Cannoli
with a twist

This is only the beginning for Vera and Andrew, of Cannoli & Co, who plan to expand the range of cannoli, catering for all tastes. Located at Shop 24 The Centreway, Cannoli & Co offers a full coffee and expresso menu as well as fresh, homemade  soup, focaccia, lasagna and arancini balls. They also have cakes and desserts for special occasions.

Shavans brings the best
of India

an Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant in


“We serve spicy food on request, but 
generally our food is not spicy at all,” Nalin says, adding that “dishes are tailored according to the level of spice requested.”

Newsagent makes the news 

Pinewood Authorised Newsagency has been bringing people the news in Mount Waverley and Glen Waverley for almost 60 years.  Now, the newsagency, located at 59 The Centreway on the site of the first ever business in the Pinewood strip, is making news of its own…. The family owned business has won the prestigious Victorian Newsagent of the Year award, adjudged by the Herald Sun and Fairfax newspaper groups, for 2018.
